This Privacy Policy explains what information Ciudadano Ready ("we," "us," or "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Account information: when you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely, never in plain text) to create and secure your account.
Payment information: when you make a purchase, payment is processed by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full card number or other card details on our own servers -- Stripe handles and stores that information directly. We retain a record of the purchase itself (such as the plan purchased, amount paid, and a Stripe-issued transaction reference) to maintain your account and provide receipts or support.
Contact form submissions: if you message us through the Contact page, we collect your name, email address, subject, and message content.
Course progress: we store which lessons and stages you've completed so your dashboard reflects your progress.
Language preference: your choice of English or Spanish is remembered in your browser's local storage; it is not sent to our servers.
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, respond to support and contact requests, secure your account, and communicate important updates about your account or the course.

We use your browser's local storage (not tracking cookies) to remember your language preference and session. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies.
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Contact form messages are retained to maintain a record of support requests. You may request deletion of your data as described below.
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted password storage and row-level access controls, so users can only access their own account data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Ciudadano Ready is intended for adult naturalization applicants and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
You can review and update your account information at any time, or request that we delete your account and associated data, by contacting us through the Contact page.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
